New from Discovery Day Nursery 〰️
We have learnt about the Lunar New Year this week. The children learnt how to write numbers in Chinese, played restaurants in the role play area, pretended to be a dragon using the material, and coloured in a giant dragon. They also learnt some songs about the new year. At snacktime, the children used the Chinese numbers and named them “one, yī” , “two, èr”, “three, sān”, “four, sì” and “five, wŭ”.
