Adventurers (3–5 years)
The Adventurers room fully supports children’s growing desire for independence.
For example, children can pour their own drinks, help with snack preparation, wash up their own cutlery and put their own shoes and coats on. The children have opportunities to develop their fine motor skills in preparation for writing by safely using a range of tools and resources.
The Adventurers room environment is planned using information shared by our parents about the children’s home environments and families’ experiences and stimulates complex language development plus creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
A healthy snack bar, and lunch are provided and children have access to the dedicated outdoor area throughout the day.
